- First impression: a fast favorite. Worth the price as long as it holds up over time.- Very soft and comfortable. Feels great on bare skin, just short of silky.- The navy blue is a bit darker than the image appears on my screen.- Heaviness: on a scale of 1 to 4, I'd give it a 2. it's two layers, but they're thin, and they breathe. Good for spring/fall days and perhaps summer nights.- Sizing: accurate. I ordered a Large: the fit is just a bit relaxed; it's not snug, but neither is it too loose; on the larger side of Large, but still a Large.- Length: a bit longer (taller) than most.- The pockets are large and deep. The openings are higher and further back than on most hoodies. It will be difficult for things to accidentally fall out of these deep pockets. I can still rest my hands in the pockets, though this posture does feel different than with other hoodies. Shrug, it's a tradeoff.- The elastic hemline stays against the body, but is not tight/snug.- The elastic sleeve cuffs are a bit larger than expected - they hang open a bit around my wrists, but the sleeves stay up when pushed to my elbows.- The elastic side panels (about 3" wide) run from the underarm to the hemline, and are one layer - the polyester interior layer does not cover the side panels (ventilation).- The hood is large. Fits well when half-on, hangs over my eyes when full-on.- The exterior is 92% cotton, 8% elastane (a.k.a. spandex, lycra). Interior is 100% polyester.- Color remained intact after the first washing (cold water).- Did not shrink and the zipper did not deform/curl after the first run through the dryer (low heat).
